Our aim
Our aim is to provide first-class care for our patients, and to promote research and development in the field of Fetal Medicine.

We offer a wide spectrum of services with state-of-the-art equipment and a variety of prenatal screening tests and diagnostic procedures.

First Trimester Screening Programme
With the improvement in ultrasound technology and the introduction of transvaginal scanning, it is now possible to examine accurately the anatomy of the first trimester fetus in the first 13 weeks of pregnancy. This can reassure the mother that there are no major abnormalities with the fetus.

The Scan
The best time to perform the scan is at 12–13 weeks of pregnancy.

On the Day of the Test
The test will take about one hour and will comprise of a blood test* and a scan.
